Funen lounge chair draws you in you with its sensuous, reclined back, and you feel at home from the first moment you sit gently and softly in the chair.
The chair, like our sofas, is a beautiful addition to life and is available in two variants: a low and a high back lounge chair with a height of 73 cm and 89 cm, respectively.
The low-back lounge chair offers a chance for relaxation; place two or more together for long conversations in comfortable surroundings. The high-back chair stands out with its long backrest and comfortable neck cushion, which makes the chair suitable for contemplation, rest, and reading. Both versions have an elegant footstool that adds to classic look and silhouette.
Funen is delivered as standard with legs in brushed stainless steel 170 / 150 x Ø20 mm (6,7 / 5,9 x 0,8”) (170 mm in the front and 150 mm in the back). Steel legs alternatively in black lacquered (RAL 9004 matt).

Product Description
FUNEN LOW BACK is subject to Danish Furniture Control.
Frame:
The back- and armrest frames are made from moulded plywood, upholstered with polyurethane foam and fiberfill.
Frame is made from solid Scandinavian pine doweled together in triangular frames, assembled and braced with low emission Masonite, using a water-based glue. Seat suspension of highly elastic Nozag springs of varnished European carbon steel mounted in specially developed coated noise-free spring holders.
The frame is upholstered with several types of high-quality polyurethane and high-density foam for comfort and long-lasting durability.
Cushion:
The seat cushion is a down-top cushion consisting of a highly elastic polyurethane foam core with a wrap of 100 % high-quality down and small duck feathers, sewn into a ribbed, down-proof cambric cushion (casing) in 100 % cotton.
The cushion filling in other cushions is 100 % high-quality down and small duck feathers, sewn into a ribbed down-proof cambric (casing) in 100 % cotton.
All down and duck feathers are by-products of food production.
The down can emit a faint odour at high humidity and should be air-dried regularly. To maintain the shape and appearance of down cushion and pillows, regular fluffing-up and airing is recommended.
Cover:
Funen is available upholstered in any fabric or leather from the Eilersen collection or in COM fabric or leather (Customer’s Own Material).
With fabric upholstery the standard delivery is with a fixed-frame cover, alternatively with a removable cover on the frame, both with an inner cover in stout made of 100 % cotton.
With leather upholstery the standard delivery is with a fixed cover on the frame with an inner cover in stout made of 100 % cotton.
All cushion covers are equipped with a high-quality zip.
Legs:
Funen is standard supplied with legs in brushed stainless steel 170/150 x Ø20 mm (6.69/5.9 x 0.78”), 170 mm in the front and 150 mm in the back.
The height of the legs (seat height) can be increased by + 20 mm (0.78). Alternatively steel legs in black lacquered (RAL 9004 matt).
Warranty:
Eilersen provides a five-year manufacturer’s warranty against defects in the frame, springs and cushion filling.
No warranty is provided on fabric and leather from the Eilersen collection or on COM fabrics.
