Bure Plain is a sofa with endless possibilities, made to be the centrepiece of any room. Each module is a building block that can be assembled into an exquisite landscape, achieving different expressions with the same impeccable craftsmanship and comfort.
THE ARMS, BACK, AND SEATS OF THE BURE PLAIN CAN BE COMBINED SIDE BY SIDE, ON ONE SIDE ONLY OR BACK TO BACK, TRANSFORMING THE SOFA INTO A SCULPTURE TO BE ADMIRED IN 360 DEGREES.
Bure’s softness is thanks to the down-top concealed in the cushions, giving the silhouette an organic shape and feel.
The standard version comes with a fixed cover, but it is possible to order a removable one that can be dry cleaned and changed as desired. Underneath the cover there is a calico cover made from 100% cotton to protect the upholstery
Bure Plain is available in nine different sections, arms and footstools.
Seat height is standard 40cm (15 ¾”) but can be increased by either 2cm (¾”) or 4cm (1 ½”)

WHAT TO CONSIDER:
- The back cushion is not included and must be ordered separately

Product Description
Bure Plain is subject to Danish Furniture Control.
Frame:
Frame in solid Scandinavian pine doweled together in triangular frames, assembled and braced with low emission Masonite, using a water-based glue.
Seat suspension of highly elastic Nozag springs of varnished European carbon steel mounted in specially developed coated noise-free spring holders.
The frame is upholstered with several types of high-quality polyurethane and high-density foam for comfort and long-lasting durability.
Cushion:
The seat cushion consists of a highly elastic polyurethane foam core with a wrap of 600 g Fiberfill.
The cushion filling in other loose cushions is 100 % high-quality down and small duck feathers, sewn into a ribbed down-proof cambric (casing) in 100 % cotton.
All down and duck feathers are by-products of food production.
The down can emit a faint odour at high humidity and should be air-dried regularly. To maintain the shape and appearance of down cushion and pillows, regular fluffing-up and airing is recommended.
Cover:
Bure Plain is available upholstered in any fabric or leather from the Eilersen collection or in COM fabric or leather (Customer’s Own Material).
With fabric upholstery the standard delivery is with a fixed-frame cover, alternatively with a removable cover on the frame, both with an inner cover in stout made of 100 % cotton.
All cushion covers are equipped with a high-quality zip.
Legs:
Bure Plain is delivered as standard with hidden black legs, 60 x 60 x 60 mm (2,36 x 2,36 x 2,36”), moulded in nylon (Polyamide PA6) produced with a content of 98 % recycled plastic.
The height of the legs (seat height) can be increased by either + 20 mm (0,78”) or + 40 mm (1,57”).
Warranty:
Eilersen provides a five-year manufacturer’s warranty against defects in the frame, springs and cushion filling.
No warranty is provided on fabric and leather from the Eilersen collection or on COM fabrics.
