Bure Wave is a sofa with endless possibilities, made to be the centrepiece of any room. Each module is a building block that can be assembled into an exquisite landscape, achieving different expressions with the same impeccable craftsmanship and comfort.
THE ARMS, BACK, AND SEATS OF THE BURE PLAIN CAN BE COMBINED SIDE BY SIDE, ON ONE SIDE ONLY OR BACK TO BACK, TRANSFORMING THE SOFA INTO A GORGEOUS SCULPTURE TO BE ADMIRED IN 360 DEGREES.
Bure’s softness is thanks to the down-top concealed in the cushions, giving the silhouette an organic shape and feel.
The model is only available with a fixed cover. Underneath the cover there is a calico cover made from 100% cotton to protect the upholstery.
Bure Wave is available in nine different sections, arms and footstools.
Seat height is standard 40cm (15 ¾”) but can be increased by either 2cm (¾”) or 4cm (1 ½”).

Product Description
BURE WAVE is subject to Danish Furniture Control.
Frame:
Frame in solid Scandinavian pine doweled together in triangular frames, assembled and braced with low emission Masonite, using a water-based glue.
Seat suspension of highly elastic Nozag springs of varnished European carbon steel mounted in specially developed coated noise-free spring holders.
The frame is upholstered with several types of high-quality polyurethane and high-density foam for comfort and long-lasting durability.
Cushion:
The seat cushion consists of a highly elastic polyurethane foam core.
The cushion filling in other loose cushions is 100 % high-quality down and small duck feathers, sewn into a ribbed down-proof cambric (casing) in 100 % cotton.
All down and duck feathers are by-products of food production.
The down can emit a faint odour at high humidity and should be air-dried regularly. To maintain the shape and appearance of down cushion and pillows, regular fluffing-up and airing is recommended.
Cover:
Bure Wave is available upholstered in any fabric or leather from the Eilersen collection or in COM fabric or leather (Customer’s Own Material). The cover is polyurethane foam sewn into channels and pulled down inti the seat.
Bure Wave is only available with a fixed-frame cover, with an inner cover in stout made of 100% cotton.
All cushion covers are equipped with a high-quality zipper.
Legs:
Bure Wave is delivered as standard with hidden black legs, 60 x 60 x 60 mm (2,36 x 2,36 x 2,36”), moulded in nylon (Polyamide PA6) produced with a content of 98 % recycled plastic.
The height of the legs (seat height) can be increased by either + 20 mm (0,78”) or + 40 mm (1,57”).
Warranty:
Eilersen provides a five-year manufacturer’s warranty against defects in the frame, springs and cushion filling.
No warranty is provided on fabric and leather from the Eilersen collection or on COM fabrics.
